Graphite thermal paste
WebApr 15, 2010 · The p - and n-type materials had thermal conductivities of 2.5 W m-1 K -1 and 3 W m-1 K-1 above 300 K, respectively. Bocher et al. measured a thermal conductivity 0.78 W m-1 K-1 lower above 300 K for the n-type material. The difference between the data can be attributed to modified synthesis conditions in order to obtain dense TE legs with … WebI had also tried a copper shim 0.2mm thick, both with thermal paste and without. Temps were better than stock cooler and better than HC block with just paste + the gap, but not nearly as good as the Fujipoly. Hoping someone does a comprehensive test on different brands, as the Fujipoly is supposedly much more thermally conductive than the IC one.

WebJan 24, 2024 · The IC Graphite pad I got in 2024 was priced at $12.99, and the Carbonaut I purchased in 2024 at $19.49. There are different sizes for both graphite pads, and I did purchase those appropriate for AMD's AM4 CPUs, which are a bit larger than most Intel CPUs. For the cooler, I am still using the Wraith Prism cooler that came with the 2700X. WebOct 26, 2024 · AMD Vega 56. Long story short, bought a laptop off Ebay that has awful pump-out. When it arrived, there was zilch thermal paste on the die, as it had all seeped out the edges between it and the heatsink. Got it off, then applied some GD900 (only 1C worse than Noctua DH). Which was great, for a single week. Then the pump out happened again.
