Dow Corning® 795 Silicone Building Sealant is a one-part, cold-applied, non-sagging silicone material that cures to a medium modulus silicone rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. This seems like an odd way to cure and am not sure what the advantages are. WebOne thing to keep in mind is that the elasticity of the 795 is a percentage of it's thickness, so, don't squeeze it all out. I used a piece of rubber trim to cap the rough opening in the cabin after removing the aluminum frames. I applied the 795 liberally, the opening was masked on both sides, scraped up the excess and tooled the joint smooth.
